About Deb
I am a highly experienced web and print designer in the health care and non-profit sector and have recently completed a master’s degree in UX Design at The Maryland Institute College of Art. I have designed and maintained websites and social media presences for hospices and other non-profit organizations for over fifteen years, and am very familiar with remote work.
I have extensive experience working across the Creative Cloud suite, and am very comfortable working in Microsoft Office. I have experience designing and producing print assets, working with a range of print vendors. I am also familiar with Adobe Premiere, and have produced video projects for numerous clients. I have developed email campaigns using a variety of tools; my platform of choice for web development is WordPress, and you will see from my resumé that I have an extensive portfolio of web clients, ranging from sole practitioners to large corporations. I work both in-house and on a freelance basis, and I am very comfortable working remotely, as I have done exclusively in the last few years.
I have a passion for working with non-profits and community-based organisations and have produced everything from brochures and annual reports to websites and microsites. I enjoy working for organizations who support others. I have built a reputation for quality work delivered on deadline, and I pride myself on a responsive, client-centred approach to my work.
As you’ll see from my portfolio, I enjoy taking complex data sets and turning them into visually-compelling graphics. I primarily work in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and WordPress; I’m also quite familiar with Figma and Miro for prototyping and development.
